The Space Planner

Whilst working as an independent interior designer I was commissioned to design and project manage this captivating new build 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom holiday home and it’s terraces, located on the picturesque island of Cyprus. The client’s design brief was to blend industrial and Tuscan styles, resulting in a truly unique and enchanting living space.

I specified natural materials throughout – limestone flooring on the ground floor, oak internal joinery and flooring upstairs. The English oak was shipped over from Derbyshire along with the bespoke windows and doors made from a low maintenance type of wood called Accoya.
Metal elements were introduced to create a contemporary industrial feel.

Expert traditional stonemasons crafted the local stone exterior and sandstone terraces, while separate outdoor ‘rooms’ for dining, lounging, and sunbathing were skillfully devised through the use of various levels, low-level walling, and thoughtful planting.
